I've run a real business. I know where the friction comes from.
For 25 years, I worked as a composer and educator — managing contracts, clients, royalties, invoicing, and operations.
Most of it ran on spreadsheets and workarounds.
I know what it's like to be good at your work and still lose hours every week fighting the tools that are supposed to help you.
That experience is the foundation of everything I build.
When you tell me what's broken, I'm not guessing. I've lived it.
The background behind the work
I hold four degrees, including a doctorate. I bring the same rigor to software that I brought to 25 years of professional creative and academic work.
Precision matters. Details matter. Getting it right the first time matters.
I also served 14 years in the U.S. Army Reserve — where execution under constraint isn't optional. Limited time, limited resources, high stakes.
That mindset carries into every system I build.
I built systems for myself first.
The first system I built was for my own business.
I needed a way to track clients, manage contracts, automate invoicing, and eliminate duplicate work. Nothing off the shelf could do it cleanly.
So I built it.
Then a client saw it and asked for the same thing in her business. That system changed her bottom line in the first season.
From there, it became the work.

Remote-first. Available anywhere.
I work with small businesses and solo operators across industries.
Everything works remotely — from planning to build to support. If you're local to me, we can meet in person. Either way, the process is the same.
If this sounds familiar, we should talk.
Tell me what's slowing you down or breaking in your workflow. I'll tell you what it would look like to fix it.
