I've run a real business. I know what the friction feels like.

For 25 years I worked as a composer and educator. I ran contracts, managed clients, tracked royalties, handled invoicing, and kept everything moving — mostly on spreadsheets and willpower. I know what it's like to be good at your work and still spend half your time wrestling with the tools that are supposed to help you do it.

That experience is the foundation of everything I build. When you describe what's broken, I'm not guessing at what you mean. I've been there.

The background that shapes the work.

I hold four degrees, including a Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA). I'm not a hobbyist who picked up coding as a side project — I bring the same rigor to software that I brought to 25 years of professional creative and academic work. Precision matters. Details matter. Getting things right the first time matters.

I also served 14 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. That's 14 years of learning how to execute under constraints — limited time, limited resources, high stakes, no excuses. It shaped how I approach every project.

I built tools for myself first.

The first custom system I built was for my own music publishing business. I needed something that tracked clients, managed contracts, automated invoicing, and didn't require me to re-enter the same information in four different places. Nothing off the shelf did what I needed. So I built it.

When a friend saw what I'd built, she asked me to do the same for her vacation rental business. That system changed her bottom line in the first season. Word got around. Now I do this for other people full-time.

Based in Houston, TX.

I work with small businesses and solo operators across industries. If you're based in Houston, we can meet in person. If you're elsewhere, everything works just as well remotely — the conversations, the builds, the support.

If what I've described sounds like what you've been looking for, let's talk. First conversation is free, and I promise there's no jargon.
